The practically-oriented dentistry programme at the University Clinic of Dentistry Vienna conforms to the newest scientific standards. The Curriculum Directorate is responsible for content and methodological advancement.
The Dentistry Curriculum Directorate is responsible for the organisation, advancement and content coordination of the dentistry curriculum. It defines teaching and training objectives, on the basis of which the schedules for the curriculum are set every year. Apart from the development of new teaching and study methods and their implementation, e.g. e-learning, it is up to the Directorate to introduce new examination formats and methods and to process ongoing examinations.
In addition, it oversees the approval of theses and the recognition of foreign degrees.
